Claire Warner is on a mission to warn others about a little-known breast cancer symptom . Her recent Facebook post about her left boob has gone viral online.
The only sign that caused her alarm was a “minuscule” dimple in her left breast. You can see this in the picture below. While the purple mark beside it is a bruise from the biopsy.

“This is a picture of my left boob,” she shared. “The small purplish bruise is where I had a biopsy taken. The minuscule dimple up and to the left of it is a rare and little-known symptom of BREAST CANCER. Blink and you’d miss it. I hope I’m one of the lucky ones.”
Documenting her journey
Following her diagnosis, Claire has started a Twitter page to spread awareness and to document her journey. She describes the page as:

One in 10 women in Ireland will get breast cancer at some stage in their lives. The risk of breast cancer increases as you get older. Most women who get breast cancer are over the age of 50. Are you worried about this disease? Talk to your GP and don’t forget to get checked regularly.
